Pacific Lutheran High School competes in the California Interscholastic Federation (C.I.F) for high school athletic competition. The school offers sports throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring. The school has fielded teams in cross country, football, basketball, baseball and volleyball for the boys in the past five years. Girls' teams have included cross-country, volleyball, basketball, and softball. Pacific Lutheran High School competes in the Mulholland League. This league includes other schools with approximately 100 students such as Wildwood, Los Angeles Adventist and Summit View West.
Student-athletes at Pacific Lutheran High School are encouraged to try out for the different sports teams offered throughout the year. They must maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average throughout the season to remain academically eligible for team participation. A complete physical is required for involvement in high school athletics.
