Western RoundUp Dinner Auction - Saturday April 28, 2012

Pacific Lutheran High School will be hosting its annual dinner auction at Torrance's DoubleTree Inn in late April. Individual ticket prices are $50.00 and tables of ten run $500.00. This year's theme is Western and it will be reflected in guest attire, decorations, and music during the auction event. We are currently looking for donated items and auction guests to help make this event as successful as possible. Luther's Attic Thrift Store

Pacific Lutheran High School has opened its thrift store, Luther's Attic at 2409 Artesia Blvd. in Redondo Beach. This store has opened under the strong leadership of Thrift Store Manager Mary Carlson after the generous donations of time, items, expertise and prayers of many school and church families. This thrift store will provide a funding vehicle for student scholarships and will support Pacific Lutheran High School's academic and cocurricular programming. Scrip Now Available in the School Office

Scrip is fundraising while you shop®. The program allows PLHS parents to purchase scrip for everyday expenses like food, clothing, and entertainment while earning a percentage of each dollar of scrip purchased in revenue for Pacific Lutheran High School. Scrip is "no-selling" fundraising. You can view the Scrip Order Form which lists over 100 stores, restaurants and businesses for which scrip can be purchased. You can print and fill out this form and bring it to the school office to purchase scrip.

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans

Pacific Lutheran School is proud of its long-standing relationship with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. This Fortune 500 financial services institution serves thousands of Lutheran organizations with a host of services. Pacific Lutheran High School has been the recipient of numerous donations from the West L.A. Chapter of Thrivent and its Executive Board. Supporters of Pacific Lutheran High School who are associate members of Thrivent are able to have charitable donations to Pacific Lutheran High School matched up to $300.00 per year. In addition to individual donations, Associate memberships enable P.L.H.S. to receive larger grants/matching funds throughout the year.
Membership qualifications are:

Pay an annual $10.00 fee
Submit two page application
