Mrs. Lisa Nunley has been at Pacific Lutheran High School for two and half years. She has taught Chemistry, Algebra 2, General Science and Biology. She has been married for 13 years to a wonderful supportive husband. The joys of her life is her daughter and twin boys. She is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Redondo Beach.

Mrs. Nunley is a proud Texas Tech Red Raider. She received both her B.S. (1991) and M.S. (1993) Food Science and Technology degrees from Texas Tech University. She has worked as a Product development research scientist for Custom Foods Inc., and as a Quality Assurance lab supervisor/manager for Excel Beef, a division of Cargill Foods. Her dream job and what is most proud of was the work that she did as Associate Scientist, Sr. for Lockheed Martin. She was the food scientist working on the Advanced Life Support food system for the Lunar/Martian test bed at the Johnson Space Center. Her research has been published in the Journal of Food Science as well as the Life Support & Biosphere Science International Journal of Earth/Space.
