What makes a Christian school different from other schools?

"This school, as one with a Christian environment, is much different than other, non-Christian schools. The study body, as a whole, is much more closely bonded. The faculty is much more easily contacted than that of other schools I have attended."

"The main difference I personally experienced was the accessibility of the teachers. At public school teachers had a very specific quote of so many chapters per semester, so it was easy to fall behind and get lost. Here if you don't understand something there are lots of opportunities for one on one time with teachers so you never fall behind. Also the students are a lot friendlier. Me being a shy person would never have had the nerve to talk to people I didn't know, but here they came up and talked to me and were very nice."

"A Christian school is way different than a non-Christian school. I have never gone to public school, but from the kids that do go to public school you can tell the difference. Here at P.L.H.S. you can tell that we try to make our school Christ-centered."

"Being in a Christian school is good because all the students that go to P.L.H.S. are very kind and caring. We can also share God's Word with each other which in public school you are not able to do."

"Christian schools are open to other religions, so you don't have to be Christian. Unlike public schools, we teach about the Bible, which is a historical reference to ancient history. Every Wednesday there is chapel day."

"Christian school is very different than other schools. Because the school teaches Theology and students believe and worship God. The school helps students to believe in God and have faith. Theology class helps us to understand the Bible. Other schools don't teach theology and don't worship. They have Christian groups, but they don't have knowledge of the Bible. If I can choose a school, then I will choose a Christian school, because it teaches the true religion."

"I went to public school until my Sophomore year, then transferred here because I just couldn't handle it. Here the teachers actually seem to care about your individual needs."
