Theology 9-10 provides students with a framework of biblical knowledge necessary for their continued study and growth in the Christian faith. Students participate in a semester-long study of Genesis which lays a foundation for their further study. Issues covered in Genesis include: redemption, salvation by faith, biographies of important Old Testament figures, Old Testament archetypes pointing to Christ, historical and cultural mores which impact Genesis interpretation, the truthfulness of the Genesis creation account, etc.

The second semester of Theology 9-10 generally provides a introductory study of Law and Gospel, God's two main teachings in the Bible. Students will learn about Jesus' work on the cross for them, and how this finished act of salvation impacts their lives today.
